Ontario’s first female premier signalled Monday that one of the things that most irks her is the suggestion she can’t — or won’t — make tough economic decisions.
“One of the myths I’m dealing with right now . . . is the idea that a female leader can’t make a forceful, positive impact as steward of the economy,” Wynne told 450 people at a Canadian Club luncheon, where she received the Equal Voice EVE award.
