Involving the private sector in gender mainstreaming efforts

If I may suggest, I know that this platform is an open one that discusses many issues, and highlights the issues of women and gender, I wouldn't hide the fact that the new trend in the UN system at large in collaborating with private sectors is a little bit worrying when it comes to serving the interests of the marginalized, vulnerable and excluded groups..i.e women, working class, youth, people of disability etc... Can iknow initiate a wider platform to discuss this turn in the arena of political development? and humanitarian assistance? how all this contradict with old world reports of 1999 that stress how neo liberal politics has negative effects on women? may be this will be a good intervention I am interested in knowing too, let me know if it makes sense.
