Conflict Trends, on Women, Peace and Security (Issue 3/2003)
This issue of "Conflict Trends, on Women, Peace and Security" contains several articles that seek to stimulate debate regarding the positive contributions that women make on peace and security issues in Africa. The authors address two main issues: first, the risks and challenges that women face on the continent; and second, the achievements that have been made to mainstream gender at decision-making levels of sub-regional organizations.
