Summary of the e-Discussion on Funding for Women Candidates
The e-Discussion on Funding for Women Candidates was launched on 15 May 2018 in Arabic, English, French and Spanish and ended on 19 June 2018. Women politicians, experts, practitioners, and academics discussed the challenges and opportunities for funding for women candidates and its role in increasing and strengthening women’s political participation.
Twelve participants from Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, the Americas and Europe engaged in the online debate and submitted contributions.
