HOW WILL YOU PARTICIPATE IN YOUR DEMOCRACY? Vote? Organize? Advocate?

Young people in growing numbers from from around the world have a superpower. They have the power to engage and to vote, and NDI is encouraging them to use it.

As we celebrate International Day of Democracy, it is important to remember that participation is crucial to a resilient democracy. Each one of us -- every citizen in a democracy -- has the power to determine the future, but only if we act. We have the power to reach out to each other, tear down the walls that divide us and with those same stones build bridges that unite us.

This year, let's recommit -- young and old alike -- to use our superpower. Vote, Organize, Advocate, Participate! Peacefully.
