Women MPs on Monday launched a new parliamentary forum, in a bid to reform laws governing family affairs and women issues.
The forum’s main objective is to shed light on the issues of women and families, through reviewing legislative priorities, the forum’s general coordinator, Deputy Wafaa Bani Mustafa (Jerash, 1st District) said.
“The forum is not against men, but it will work to push for tackling matters of concern to women,” Bani Mustafa noted.
