Participants in the first International Women's Congress "For a Culture of Peace" called, Tuesday in Oran, for the enforcement of the law to fight violence against women.
The bills "must be accompanied by enforcement mechanisms" allowing the fight against this phenomenon, as it is done in the world, said the participants in a workshop held under the theme "Violence against Women, What Solutions?"

"In addition to laws, policies and public strategies are to be implemented to criminalize domestic violence," she added.
