As part of the Round-table launched by the Inter-American Development Bank, several women political leaders in Latin-America and the Caribbean gathered together to discuss several aspects of change underway in the region in regards to equity, political participation and leadership. This conference dubbed, Women in the Americas: Paths to Political Power, was a joint-initiative between the Inter-American Development Bank, Inter-American Dialogue, League of Women Voters of the United States and the Organization of American States (OAS).
