Meet the New President of the Marshall Islands

The Marshall Islands parliament has elected a new president Dr. Hilda Heine, making her the first female leader of any independent Pacific island nation. This video was filmed by the Pacific Women's Parliamentary Partnership Project in April 2015 when Dr. Heine was the Education Minister of the Marshal Islands and the only woman in the national parliament.
