On 10 November 2015, a diverse and geographically representative group of 38 Libyan women activists joined their efforts in presenting the Libyan Women Action Plan for Peace and their shared vision to the international community.

Michele Bachelet, President of the Republic of Chile, has participated this week in the forum ‘Women and Youth Dialogue’, celebrated this week at the Miriam College, in Quezon City (Philippines). The forum was part of the 4^th National Women’s Summit, under the motto ‘Strengthening Women’s Political Participation for Inclusive and Democratic Governance towards Equitable and Sustainable Development’.

Dr Amal Al Qubaisi was elected by her peers on Wednesday, 18 November 2015, the Speaker of the United Arab Emirates' Federal National Council (FNC). Today, history is made as Dr Al Qubaisi becomes the first woman to fill the shoes of the Speaker of an Arab national council.
